Role: Design lead for 10 designers, 3 researchers, 1 content editor. Facilitated cross domain collaboration, presented regularly to senior leadership, worked with agencies to create supplemental assets, partnered with Design Systems team to create and implement next generation DS.

Scope: Build a commerce/procurement console for the Dell APEX line of cloud compute and storage offers.

Approach: Embedded with product team, creating wireframes and rapid prototyping for both MVP delivery and user research sprints, which ran concurrently.

Project Athena

A small collection of artifacts from the project

Role: Leader of the core team, which included a product manager, a front end developer, tech lead, and researcher. Lead each stage of D&F, produced all designs and project artifacts. Reported to Exec Steering Committee.

Scope: Modernize virtual training for Dell sales force. Concept creation demonstrating a solution to deliver personalized content at point of need.

Approach: User interviews with over 40 participants, across multiple roles, experience levels, and geographic locations. Industry and Academic research in modern learning approaches and techniques. Ideation for applying emerging technology to root problems.

Modern Core Capabilities

Role: End to End Experience Lead for MCC, the umbrella program for Dell Technologies effort to stand up robust service and subscription offerings, across both customer facing and internal sales tools.

Scope: Create design patterns and experiences to incorporate subscription elements such as licenses, third party account integration, progressive rate schedules, upgrades, extensions, cancelation scenarios and more, for both first party and third party subscription offers.

Approach: Forged cross functional/cross program working teams to address common issues and dependencies. Helped define user and design requirements at program level. Effectively argued for pivot to internal sales driven approach for certain offers when self service path grew too complex, and worked with engineering to streamline some complexities within the self service lane to smooth user interactions.


Seller Vision

Role: Principal Designer and strategy lead for near and long term vision ideation for the internal seller team at Dell Technologies, covering the tools they use and the processes they experience on a daily basis.

Scope: An 18/36/60 month plan to help the business leadership understand what changes they can anticipate in the online ecosystem and how the sales organization may operate in the years to come.

Approach: A core team of senior designers synthesized and curated years of concept work, research, service diagrams, personae, and design proposals to create a cohesive set of recommendations. We conducted many rounds of user research with users across multiple roles and levels of experience. We met regularly with executive leadership to present findings and proposals.
